As I edited these, I was reflecting back to when I was her age. Weird, sporty, chunky, and no beauty routine. Just me, my hand-me down clothes, bubble bangs and ponytail against the world.
I think that awkward stage is almost a right of passage though. It teaches you how to grow into yourself, and eventually, how to love the person you've become.
But this girl...she's the girl I wish I could've been at her age. Naturally beautiful, confident, kindhearted, and completely herself. She has this wildflower kind of beauty. She doesn't have to try, she just blooms wherever she's planted.
