It was my partner’s birthday over the weekend and wanted to try something new. I had been meaning to check out SaSara and Tedros Ethiopian Restaurantbut never found the time. Well dust me off and call me John Cena, cause the time was now. Went in blind because I was not familiar with Ethiopian food. The aromas from the plate were intoxicating, I knew I was in for a treat. After the first bite I was instantly in love. The different textures and spices had my full attention. All the veggies were full of flavor and the meat was tender. As far as spice levels went it was a tad on the spicy side, but nothing I couldn’t handle. I surely hope Wichita keeps adding place like this to the rotation, and that people are willing to step out of their comfort zones and experience something new.
