Well... this one is a little bittersweet.
Unless someone talks me into it, this will be the last cover I shoot for Wichita Real Producers.
I signed on with the magazine when I was pregnant with Dagan. Looking back, it’s hard to believe how much life has happened since then. I was still a pretty new photographer, learning as I went and trying to figure out what I wanted my business to become.
My first session was with Grace Peterson , and my first cover was .sumerell. Both were incredible women who trusted me with their stories, and I’ll always be grateful for that.
Over the years, Wichita Real Producers has introduced me to so many amazing people. The relationships, conversations, friendships, and opportunities that came from these cover shoots are something I’ll always treasure. , thank you for believing in me, encouraging me, and supporting me through all these years.
And now, this chapter closes with .
What a way to finish. She’s strong, driven, full of personality, and absolutely deserving of this spotlight. I couldn’t have asked for a better final cover.
Not going to lie... I teared up a little when this one came out.
Photography has changed a lot since that first cover. More importantly, I have changed. But one thing has stayed the same: I still feel incredibly honored every time someone trusts me to tell their story.
Thank you, , for letting me be part of yours. ❤️
