the thoughts weigh heavy this morning on my mind after such a tragic plane crash, leaving from my hometown.
clinging to the one who never forsakes us, even in the midst of heartbreak and unexplained loss.
hug those you love extra tight today. and lean into the Father who yearns for your attention and relationship every moment of every day. He will always be there.

sending out prayer after prayer for those who have lost a loved one, for those who are first responders and have been battling the cold and wind overnight, all those involved in the rescue efforts, our hometown, the figure skating community… the list seems to never end. You are being wrapped up in prayer 🙏

my big guy turned 9 today. NINE.
and I’ll tell ya one thing,
I sure have zero regrets over every single baby photo that I had taken of him- my camera and professionally. It’s the only way I remember that stage of life now. And man do I miss it dearly.
babies don’t keep. but at least photographs preserve the memory for us 🤍
