Ways being an experienced senior portrait photographer comes in handy for parents concerns about senior portraits 👇🏻

1. "My teen doesn't like having their picture taken" - find something they love and center it around that! Keep it short and simple when it comes to posing.

2. "I have no idea what they should wear" - I have a senior style magazine created from past clients to show why their outfit choices worked best and to give ideas! I also have a small client closet to choose from if your just absolutely stuck.

3. "What if they don't smile naturally" - getting natural smiles during a session is not from saying "c'mon smile big", it comes from making them feel comfortable and asking them to have the most serious face (this usually brings out natural laughs and smiles)

All of these concerns are completely normal, but part of booking an experienced photographer is being confident knowing we know what we're doing when it comes to some of the more reserved seniors! 🫶🏻

Featuring Miss Abby! Abby is a 2027 Garden Girl graduating from Valley Falls. She wanted to be a part of the Garden Girls because she genuinely enjoys connecting with people, creating content, and being involved in her community!

We have done so many creative shoots already and she has proven time and again that she is down for any crazy idea I have! I'm so lucky to have her in front of my camera this year 🫶🏻
