A little pause in the wedding magic ✨

We’re taking a small break from our usual content to share some things I got to capture while on my mission trip to Uganda 🤍

I, Haley, had the honor of being a part of this amazing trip with Mercy for Mama’s and documenting it, capturing the stories, the strength, and the impact firsthand! Mercy for Mama’s is dedicated to supporting pregnant women through education, care, and resources that lead to safer birth!

Through their outreaches, women are taught antenatal (prenatal) care and breastfeeding, giving them knowledge that can truly save lives! And one of the most powerful parts of their mission is providing “mama kits.” These $7 kits include the essentials needed for a mother to be admitted into a hospital to give birth safely! Without one, many women would be turned away and left to deliver without proper care.

Being able to witness this, be part of it, and document it is something I will carry with me forever!
