One of the best parts of being a small business owner happened to me yesterday.

I was at a garage sale, paid for my items, and the woman helping me recognized my business name. What surprised me most wasn't that she knew it—it was that she immediately had wonderful things to say based on what she'd heard from friends.
Those moments hit differently.

As business owners, we spend so much time creating, serving clients, marketing, networking, and wondering if what we're doing is making an impact. Then out of nowhere, a complete stranger reminds you that people are talking about your business in the best way possible.

It gave me all the warm fuzzies and was such a great reminder of why I love what I do.

To everyone who has supported, referred, shared my name, or trusted me to capture your memories: THANK YOU. It means more than you know 🫶

Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that recovering from surgery has been a lot harder than I expected this past week. I’ve been doing my best, but I may be slower responding to messages, emails, galleries, and inquiries while I recover.

Thank you all so much for your patience, kindness, and understanding during this time. I truly appreciate it more than you know, and I promise I’ll get back to everyone as soon as I’m feeling better. 💜

17ish years later and somehow life brought us back around for this moment 🫶

I’m so grateful Pat chose me to capture these headshots for his next chapter. We go way back to my Presto days managing gas stations, and seeing someone chase a dream after all these years is honestly really special.

Pat is stepping into the modeling/acting world, and I have no doubt he’s going to do amazing things. So if you know anyone looking for fresh talent, photographers, agencies, casting calls, or opportunities — send them his way 👏

I just wanted to take a moment to say how incredibly thankful I am for each and every one of my clients. Your support for my small business truly means more than I can put into words.

As many of you know, I’m going into surgery, Thursday, and will be navigating recovery over the next couple of weeks. This season is a little overwhelming, but your kindness, patience, and understanding have made it so much easier to walk through.

Thank you for giving me the space to rest, heal, and come back ready to serve you even better. I’m so grateful for the trust you place in me to capture your memories—it’s something I never take for granted.

I appreciate you all more than you know, and I can’t wait to be back behind the camera soon.
