Family photos donโ€™t have to be perfectly posed to be worth remembering. Honestly, some of my favorites are the ones where everyone is laughing, Grandpa is getting all the hugs and the grown kids are acting like kids again.

Thatโ€™s your family. The love, the generations, the growing up and all the beautiful chaos in between.

I donโ€™t want to photograph some polished version of who youโ€™re supposed to be. I want to photograph the people you already are, full of personality, completely connected and unmistakably you.

Seen, not simply photographed.

You know when you pack things for a session because you just KNOW tonight is going to be the night they finally get used?

Yeah. That.....

I had a vision for this one, packed accordingly, and then started pulling things out one by one likeโ€ฆ yep. This is exactly where you belong.

Sometimes I walk into a session knowing exactly what I want to create.

Other times, I bring half my prop collection and let the location, the light and the person in front of me tell me what happens next.

This one was a little bit of both. โœจ
