Taking a step back. Again. 💛
Friends, I was not prepared for how much our daily rhythms would shift this fall. For the past four years as a stay-at-home mama, most days started with the freedom of asking, “What should we do today?” Now, every day seems to start at full speed, with hardly a moment on the calendar left unscheduled.
It’s become very clear to me this past week that I can’t juggle it all, and that’s okay. My biggest priority is to be a present mama to my girls, so I need to choose wisely where my energy goes.
For now, that means stepping back from photography again. I do have a couple of sessions in October that I will be honoring, but after that things will be pretty quiet around here for a while.
To all the families I’ve had the joy of working with this past year, thank you, truly. It’s been a blessing to use this creative outlet to capture your sweet moments and milestones. I’m grateful for each of you!
