Miss Kylie is another senior who's true colors really shined through this season. She was incredibly patient, understanding and forgiving as events in my life forced us to have to reschedule very last minute.

It may not look like it here, but it was FREEZING this day. She really loved the vibe of senior sessions in the summer and BRAVED the cold in her dress as we tried to get the most green and alive backgrounds for her.

Kylie, your ability to go with the flow and hold space for empathy from beginning to end speaks volumes of your character. I very much believe that as you continue your education you will be one of the greats and I cannot wait to see where the next stages in life take you!

Miss Katelyn has been a trooper through her senior photo adventure. In both putting up with my antics and having to split her session into two parts.

Softball is not just a big part of her life, but it has been a cornerstone through her childhood growing up. So much so, I have actually watched the live stream of her weekend games with her older sister at work. The best way for us to capture this season was to schedule while the grass was still green and FORTUNATELY we could not have gotten a better night.

Getting caught up posting some senior sessions from this fall!

Lord knows it has gotten quite crazy these last few months, but spending time with these seniors has been such a light in a dark time.

Jasmin it is easy to see you are headed big places. You are such a kind hearted and well rounded soul. Your love for what you do (and your little sister, of course 😜) will make you unstoppable on any journey you decide to take on ❤

Getting caught up on posting. Excited to share some of the sessions I've done recently!! In the mean time, these are a few from the 4th 🙂

I couldn't be more proud Amanda and her grace as she has stepped into motherhood. No transition is easy, some harder than others, and she has taken every obstacle in stride. Little Miss Lacey is loved beyond belief and it shows ❤

I’d also like to note how special touches can make such a big impact. In this photo there is more than meets the eye. The rocking chair Amanda is sitting in belonged to her Grandma, her swaddle blanket is a gift from her mom which also has special meaning, the dress she has on is from her maternity pictures (to carry the full circle effect) and the outfit her daughter is wearing was gifted to her by some of her immediate family.

All of these small things made her photos that much more special, personal, and unique. There was no big shopping haul, extensive prep or headache that went into this session. Some open dialogue between us, a couple Pinterest examples back and forth, a little bit of trust and of course patience as we did this session on her baby’s time.

I always love to hear your stories, incorporate your life and really bring in a personal element to any session. If you have ideas or a vision, bring them up! If you’re unable to pinpoint exactly what you’re looking for my brain is full of ideas.

These 4 little girls could not be more proud of their dads and without a doubt share the same love for racing.

These little ones brought their A game for pictures and of course some encouragement in the form of snacks helped! 😂

Have I ever mentioned how much I adore family sessions with little ones? We most definitely work on their time, but it's so so fun catching all these little moments.

As much as I love capturing people and families, I think I am going to have to start a nature/wildflower summer series.

The flowers, greenery, grass and full trees are one thing I missed more than anything while I lived out west. Iowa summers are second to none ☀️
