Snow day.

An old man telling stories…

On a very cold, sunny morning, I used 4x5 sheet film to make this detail of Dark Hollow Falls in Shenandoah National Park. The round-trip hike on an icy trail was about 1 and 1/2 miles. I dressed for the conditions, used cleats on my boots, and stayed safe and comfortable. And that made it possible to fully focus on photography. All of which brings me to my latest workshop with BCAC Artisan Gallery…
