It’s funny how in today’s world, we scroll past images without even thinking about them.

Now, when the images are on your wall… you actually live with them.

You pass them every day and see them in different light each time.

Over time, they become an extension of your home.

A statement canvas makes its presence known the moment you walk into a room, while a grouping of framed images pulls you closer... making you slow down and take them in piece by piece.

It's the same family and can be the same time, but with the different presentation, it has a completely different energy.

And here’s the thing we don’t think about enough:

One day, this season won’t be the season you’re in anymore.

For nearly 34 years, my camera has been more than a tool… it has been a teacher.

It has shown me that photography is never just about light or composition, never only about how someone looks.

It has taught me that the truest portraits are the ones that reveal… the strength someone forgot they had, the confidence they didn’t know was there, the beauty they stopped believing in.

Every session is a chance to create an heirloom… not just an image for today, but something that endures, something that reminds people who they were and what mattered most.

That is the art I want to keep creating… honest reflections of people stepping into their story.

When you know, you know, am I right? Some business owners have been on the entrepreneurial path since birth… I’m NOT one of them. The entrepreneurial spirit came later in my life, And it all started with a camera, and I was hooked! Now, I’ve been running Suad Photography for 31 years TODAY!! Woot Woot!!

I knew, without question, I was on the right path of pursuing my passion for Visual Storytelling whole-heartedly the moment I developed my first roll of film and making my very first print. Till this day I still get giddy when I see my images develop … the only difference is my images used to develop under red lights and chemistry, and now they develop on a computer screen. Oh, the Rush is still the same!!
