Long video…but God’s handy-work and our beautiful Spearfish Canyon. Not a perfect video but it was a beautiful foggy, slightly rainy drive with lovely colors!

If you are not local or haven’t driving the Canyon, perfect video for you! But locals - take a drive SOON …. It will fade quickly!

Another year. I have done very few photography sessions over the past year as I still continue to deal with muscle and joint issues. It is difficult to hold up and maintain camera focus, but if I do, my arms won’t work for a few days. It is really a bummer to miss out on this gorgeous Fall colors as I know everyone leaps at the chance for their family photos. Again, I am on the right track but need more time to heal. So I look forward to future sessions with my amazing clients. Thank your for your continued prayers!

I was really missing out, so I did make a drive up Spearfish Canyon. Please enjoy a few phone photos and I will post a video for those who aren’t in our area to see how beautiful it is!

Just a quick Fall update - usually this is my busiest season with Fall mini sessions in the beautiful Black Hills. Unfortunately, I have been dealing with some muscles/joint stuff and have decided not to do the mini sessions as normal. I can’t last hours doing them, but I am still offering Family session on a limited basis thru then end of October.

I have a few photography projects I am committed to this Fall and those will remain.

My prayers is I will have some resolution and treatment soon and be able to offer some great Christmas mini’s by November.

Please feel free to contact me about a Fall Mini session soon as my limited spots are filling up.

TODAY is their 45th Wedding Anniversary and ALSO Viola's 74th Birthday!!!

On Thursday, I was blessed to photograph two couples. Though I'm not done editing, I needed to choose a few captures for Vern and Viola because today is their big day! I worked with Viola several years back in the Customer Service sector, but even in the years since working together I have learned so much about her and her "old rancher", Vern. They served together in the US Army. Vern served 21 years and Vi served 8 years and then started a family and ranch. Viola has worn many hats over the years, including volunteering, mom, Grandma, but I am positive her favorite spot is the one next to Vern daily. Even at 45 years together, he still brings her coffee every morning. A quote in their house fits them well.....
"Every Love Story is Beautiful, But Ours is My Favorite"!

Today is gonna be a great day. I get to photograph two couples who combine marriages have surpassed 105 years! Capturing a moment in time milestones for these folks and their families is truly a blessing!! Stay tuned for photos!
