The fires in California right now are devastating thousands of families and it is heartbreaking to watch on tv. 😭 When I think about what “things” I would grab if I was forced to evacuate my home, I’m overwhelmed just thinking about it. Of course, I would grab the essential legal paperwork in my home (birth certificates, marriage certificate, passports), my purse/wallet, and my computer. ⁣
⁣
But what about the stuff that can’t be replaced or recreated?? I never got around to making “baby books” for my kids (I know many of you are in the same boat as me!) But I did create albums for all of my kids with newborn images, several family albums, and our wedding album. I also have a few larger framed images of my family that I would probably grab (because I have no idea where the digital files are for those image or they were taken before the time of digital photos). ⁣
⁣
And of course, I would make sure we have Cold Lamby, my daughter’s lovey, because if your kid has a beloved stuffed animal, you get it! This is a good reminder to make sure you have a plan to save your sentimental items that cannot be replaced. I will be thinking of friends in California and keeping you all in my prayers—stay safe! ♥️

Hi. Dropped off the face of the earth again-whoops. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Thank you, sinus infection that took me down for ALL of winter break. Thank you also to my kids who love to cough directly into my face. I am finally starting to recover and begin planning some exciting new sessions for 2025. ⁣
