A wedding day in the mountains, followed by an adventure through East Glacier. 🤍

Glacier Park… I do love you. But more than anything I love my clients and how they trust me, and when we figure out magic together in one of the most beautiful places in the world!

This has been one for the record books, navigating smoke, fires, and everything that comes with them. First and foremost, our hearts are with the communities affected by the fires throughout the Northwest - specifically Spokane… with the historic fires they are dealing with.

In times like these, plans change. We adapt. And sometimes, the unexpected becomes part of the story.

That’s exactly what happened with Bri & Justin’s elopement this week. We watched the smoke roll in, pivoted, and decided to head into Glacier a day earlier than originally planned.

It’s moments like this that make me especially grateful to know this park like the back of my hand. When conditions change at the last minute, we can change with them, find the beauty that’s still there, and create a memory that was never on the original timeline.

And sometimes, it becomes an even better story because of it.

Thanks to Whitefish Wedding Florist for winning the day with a fast bouquet, and Bri’s amazing sister-in-law Steph that did her hair and make able to accommodate at the last minute!

Congratulations, Bri & Justin. It was such a joy spending these two days with you and bringing this adventure to life. 🤍

Photography has been my core love for as long as I can remember.

For 16 years, it has been my career. For more than 25, it has been the way I see and capture the world.

I’ve been deeply honored that the way I see beauty has filled your homes, your albums, your walls, and some of the most meaningful chapters of your lives.

And as the world changes quickly, I keep coming back to this:

I don’t believe real photography is going away.

I believe people will crave it more.

Not a polished version of who they could be. Not an imagined version of a life they never lived. But something honest. Something felt. Something rooted in presence, memory, emotion, and human connection.

AI will have its place.

But I still believe the most beautiful things we create will always come back to humanity.
