📸 Why Professional Printing Matters

I know how exciting it is to get your photos back and want to see them printed right away! But I always encourage you not to print your photos from big-box or drugstore printers like Walmart, Walgreens, CVS etc.

The reason? These machines use low-quality & non-professional printers, incorrect color profiles, and cheap paper, which can make your images look dull, dark, grainy/blurry, or with colors that aren’t true to life. All the time and care we put into making your images perfect can be lost in the printing process.

For the best results, I recommend always ordering through your Pixieset gallery or another professional photography lab like Smallwoods, or mpix. These labs use high-quality materials and professionally calibrated printers so your images will look exactly as intended- sharp, vibrant, and professional.

Your photos are an investment, and they deserve to be displayed in the quality they were created in. 💛

✨️Just a little business update-✨️

I will no longer be offering mini sessions.

After a lot of thought and reflection, I’ve decided to step away from offering mini sessions. While they’ve been a popular option, I’ve come to realize that they no longer align with the experience I want to provide for you and your families.

First and foremost, I specialize in capturing real moments, the kind that happen when your children are comfortable, relaxed, and free to be themselves. In a 15-minute window, that magic often doesn’t have time to unfold. While I absolutely love working with kids and pride myself on being able to connect with them, the truth is: meaningful connection takes more time.

Another big reason is the editing process. Mini sessions typically include a limited number of delivered images, but I find myself editing nearly every image because I don’t want to hold back beautiful moments. In the end, I’m spending far more time than planned, and it’s just not sustainable.

Lastly, mini sessions force me to work on a timer, and that doesn’t feel right for the lifestyle experience I want to give you. I’ve built my sessions around a relaxed, go-with-the-flow approach, one where we laugh, play, and capture authentic smiles without the pressure of a ticking clock or back-to-back appointments. The mini session model creates stress and takes away from that ease and creativity I value so deeply.

I want every session with me to feel personal, unrushed, and full of heart. Thank you for understanding and for trusting me to capture your most cherished moments in a way that’s true to who you are.
