First of all, can we talk about these golden hour photos!!? I’m still in awe. These two are beautiful.

Okay let’s get back into it-Every single detail was so thoughtful- Sara left no stone untouched, even the drink stirrers with their pups faces were perfect!

One thing I’ve noticed is that when my brides are the one doing most of this detail work or are heavily involved in the design with a team, it makes the entire day feel so much more intentional and connected.

I also have to point out the movie signs they hand made with the lights on them, SO GOODπŸ‘πŸ‘

They had a flawless day, just wait til swipe through to see them with the goodest of boys🐾

The ways I’ve changed are countless.



The tears are actually streaming down my face- knowing that will be us somedayπŸ₯Ή



More breathing room = more time for candid authentic moments to happen!



This feels pretty self explanatoryπŸ˜…

To be truthful, in the past I would really only focus on those father daughter small moments- the glances, the tears and the hugs. My dad and I are so close so that definitely reflects in my work- BUT I always photograph in a way that I would want photos taken of me and my family.

So nowwww, it’s so much more intense watching moms with their sons on wedding days, and if it were me? I’d want a lot of photos of me and my son together sharing little in between moments in a final gallery too.



You hear it all the time: β€œMotherhood changes you”, and they’re right, it does. However, what they should say is that it changes EVERYTHING, not just your emotions or physicalities. ❀️❀️

The way I look at the world is different.

And as I near my first year of motherhood all I can feel is gratitude.

This community has shown me so much compassion and kindness as I’ve shifted into this role as a working mom. Finding balance has been challenging at times but I finally feel like we’re in a groove (and then I’m sure we’ll hit a sleep regression and that’ll change again hahaha).

LSS- becoming a boy mom has changed how I photograph weddings forever and I’m so so glad it has.

I’ve been anticipating this wedding like it’s Christmas morning.πŸ™Œ

Not because these two are stunning and it would make my job easy (that’s a given).

My excitement lived simply in being around them again; because these two have a warmth that feels like home- they make you feel like you’ve been lifelong friends with only spending an hour of time together prior, and bonus? they are genuinely two of the most hilarious people I’ve ever spoken to. So I knew their day was going to be a combination of all of that- and it did not disappointπŸ‘πŸ‘

I have never met a couple like Caroline and Jamie, truly. They make you laugh with their constant riffing and then the next minute you’re ugly crying during their vows with how eloquently and natural the words paint the picture of their life.

They’re individually special, and together have crafted a rare type of love that feels cinematic.

Caroline and Jamie, y’all are the real deal. Congratulations on it all- and I think ZOLA definitely respects you nowπŸ˜‰

Abby and Caleb 🐝❀️

The amount of artistic and unique touches were countless.

These two did things I’ve never seen done at a wedding before- including a father daughter dance to β€œoops I did it again”, anniversary cards for table numbers that each guest was to sign for them and write a special message, AND Abby hand embroidered handkerchiefs for her mom and sisters (with thread that matched their dresses of courseπŸ˜‰).

No stone was left unturned when it came to the details that made their day uniquely theirs. They even had Baltic Kitchen slinging pierogis in honor of their cat, Pierogi! Plus their food is incredible so it truly just made senseπŸ‘πŸ‘.

This vendor team was incredible and deserve some love!

I’m still in awe of the henna that Sanjana had done for this occasion- this preview into what their wedding day is going to be like next year got me sooo excited!! Talking about all of the color and tradition that we’ll get to experience together was such a highlight.

I am going to be in love with these forever I think- from the plane flying over us during the session to the lighting shifts everything felt like it was a movie set.

This is also the perfect example of what happens when you bring two different outfits to affect the vibe and feel of your photos. I love how she knew she wanted both options of color and clean girl aesthetic for her photos so she planned accordingly with her clothing choicesπŸ‘πŸ‘

Charlotte is also a total badass- she literally flew a plane last weekend, like what?! Hahah so cool. She’s also an EMT and is going to be a firefighter, starting school in August. I am constantly blown away by the seniors I get to work with- their ambition and drive is inspiring and so motivating.

Grateful to know a kind person like Charolette is the one going to help others in the most vulnerable moments❀️

I rarely meet my couples in person for the first time on wedding day but that’s what happened with S&J, and truthfully? You wouldn’t have ever known that. These two are so warm and welcoming, we matched each other’s energy and synced immediately.

Their day was bliss- from the weather to their private vows. The drink wall post ceremony to the family dance Steph had with her parents and brother. AND her maid of honor WROTE THEM A SONG!! Which they played during dinner. Like what?!! So thoughtful! The entire day felt effortless and full of love. πŸ’ƒπŸ»πŸ•ΊπŸ»

I had the hardest time choosing what photos to create for this post- there was just so much storytelling and special moments it was so hard not to have 30 slidesπŸ˜…

Emily and Kyle are such a blast. Walking into their venue with music blaring, the boys playing co****le and the girls having a huge dance party with champagne- the whole day was pure gold and good energy.

Things to note:
- Emily’s grandfather made their wooden ring box
- Kyle’s little brother played the guitar during the walk down the aisle.
- Emily and her girls made all of the floral arrangements (minus their bouquets).
- ANNNNNND Emily she loves Hannah Montana ✨almost as much as she loves Kyle, and this song was blaring while they were getting ready which made everyone so hype.

A day with a great mix of happy tears and beer bongsπŸ˜‚ cheers to The Minerys, y’all know how to party!

In case you need brewery wedding inspo? Take notes from Taylor and DillionπŸ‘πŸ‘

The absolute perfect intimate day for them at Rek’-Lis Brewing Co. where Taylor Robbins always had a glass of mermaid juice, and all of their favorite people celebrated them HARD on the new mega deck at Reklis!!

I wept through their private vows, and the father daughter dance song which her dad WROTE and had someone professionally record😭😭. Taylor is not a crier (she’ll tell this to everyone), so watching her uncontrollably start sobbing multiple times on wedding day filled each space with such purity and love.

The way Dillion looked at Taylor all day, through every emotion, with such genuine and kind eyes- it was special.

I never take wedding days lightly, ever. These are your family heirlooms, and being involved is something I am always grateful for. ❀️

Additionally- shooting a wedding at your β€œhome court” venue adds an extra layer of pressure. To not only do my absolute best for my couple but to really do right by my community and my friends who I’m working alongside on day of- our mountain town is magic and being able to highlight that was another incredible perk of T&D choosing this venue for their wedding day❀️
