Bob Stawicki Photography / Iwasphotographed was launched in 2013 and is based in White Salmon, WA. During the summer Bob has a booth at the Hood River Event Site. There he used video for movement analysis of alpine ski racers, coaches and ski instructors. Bob's Alpine skiing educatio

n is where he developed the fast tracking skills needed to anticipate the shot. It is also where he learn how to use dynamic balance on ski's and later a Zodiac boat. The Gorge has provided Bob the opportunity to photographed some of the top watermen and woman in the world. Miles of Downwinders powered by Strong Westerly Winds draws Windsurfers, Wingers, Kiters and Paddlers from all over the world. On the biggest days it's common to see team riders slashing it up at the Hatchery point. At the Hatchery you'll often see top Windsurfing Pros like Phil Soltysiak, Dale Cook and other notable Pro's Wyatt Miller, Tyson Poor, Rob Warwick and my favorite JP Bowels. You may see big wave surfers like Kai Lenny, Chuck Patterson and Chris Bertish go by Prone Suping and Wingfoiling. Then there's Fiona Wylde and Vickey Abbott throwing forwards at Doug's on a 4.0 day showing the men how's it's done. Bob has been published on the cover of Bassin Mag, including an inside spread on a boat review. Bob was a winner of Windsurfing Now Mag's annual review. Last summer his photos where used in a article about Chris Bertish in Foiling Mag. He was also on the cover and the featured article in the local "The Gorge Magazine" Other publications include KiteBoarder Review, Kite Boarder Mag and several adds in Windsurfing Now Mag. Here’s some history on the hood river bridge. What’s lacking is the transfer of the Port Of Hood River by the city to its own entity. Hood river county was in charge of the port at one time.

The Hood River–White Salmon Interstate Bridge, or just the Hood River Bridge, is a truss bridge with a vertical lift that spans the Columbia River between Hood River, Oregon, and White Salmon, Washington. It connects Interstate 84/U.S. Route 30 on the Oregon side with Washington State Route 14.
