This week’s 52 Frames challenge was Portrait of a Stranger, and I’ll admit, I felt a little nervous at first. Walking up to someone you’ve never met and asking to take their photo can feel intimidating, but it turned out to be one of the most fun experiences I’ve had with my camera.
Everyone I met was incredibly kind and willing to participate. What started as photographing strangers quickly turned into smiles, conversations, and a reminder that sometimes the best connections happen unexpectedly.
Each portrait began with someone I had never met, but through a shared moment and a quick conversation, those strangers became something more.
Sometimes all it takes is a camera and a little courage for strangers to become friends.
