You might know him as Michael. But if you have kiddos around here, there’s a pretty good chance you know him as Mr.B.

I recently got to photograph my friend Michael for some new headshots, and we had so much fun.

He’s an artist, a storyteller, a song singer, an actor, a theater guy, and a familiar face to so many families at the library. He pours so much creativity into our community and especially into the kiddos who get to experience the joy he creates.

Michael makes this little corner of the world more interesting, more creative and more connected.

We are so lucky to have him in Wheeling! Thank you Michael for being such an inspiration to our community.

I’ve always loved photographing couples.

I may not photograph weddings anymore, but my love for documenting two people together never left.

Engagements, anniversaries, or simply this season of life together. I love creating photographs that feel like you and hold onto the connection, personality, and story that exists between two people.

Love stories are still very much a part of what I photograph. And I think they always will be.

✨ 204 CHILDREN. 184+ FAMILIES. TWO SEASONS OF SOULSHINE.

As I close out the second season of the SOULSHINE Portrait Project, I keep thinking about every child who has stepped in front of my camera and every family who has trusted me with their story.

204 children photographed. More than 184 families served throughout the Ohio Valley.

What started as a simple idea to make sure every family has access to a beautiful portrait of their child has grown into something that means more to me than I ever imagined.

SOULSHINE has always been about paying it forward. About helping a child feel seen. About putting something tangible into a family’s hands that can be held onto for generations.

And I’m ready to see where it goes next.

My insanely gorgeous and talented cousin came to visit me in Wheeling, WV so that I could create her Senior Photos. I haven't taken her picture since she was 3 years old.

I can't wait to see all the incredible things you do in this world Lily!

A small glimpse of heaven on earth. When RY ARK Farms asked me to document their work and dedication, I felt so honored. This family cattle farm is right in our backyard of Bethany, WV.

They welcomed me and shared their family history with me, telling me stories about their land, the generational work and care that’s been given season after season, hand upon hand. Providing beef from farm to table.
