It’s that time of year again for my favorite traditional Swiss-German festival, Fasnacht!

Last year was an absolute blow out, with more people wanting tintypes than I could handle—so, I’ve asked my partner in love and business to help me this year with pouring plates and assisting customers. This way I should be more prepared than ever this year, and will hopefully be able to fit in more sessions.

Tintype Photobooth pop-up is THIS FRIDAY!

Wheeling Heritage has invited me to set up the booth at their spooky and strange-themed gallery opening this Friday at the Wheeling Artisan Center Gallery, and I couldn’t be more excited to share in the spirit of the season!

For the first time at a pop-up, I will be bringing my antique darlot lens out for a spin. The Darlot lens is a true antique from the late 1800’s that offers slightly softer pictures with an even more vintage feel.

Schedule your tintype for this event today, or at least come on out and show your support for the talented artists involved in the gallery!

Tintypes are $60 for a 4x5 and $90 for a 5x7 (plus tax). You get the physical tintype in the mail and a free digital copy.
