There’s something really beautiful about watching a husband and wife build a business together while building a family at the same time.
Maybe it hits a little closer to home for me because I grew up watching my own parents do exactly that.
I know firsthand that behind every family business are long days, sacrifices, big dreams, and two people figuring it all out together.
Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing a husband-and-wife team who run a printing company. What I loved most wasn't just their partnership in business, but the life they're building together outside of it.
They also understand something incredibly important: Their public image is part of their business.
The faces behind a company matter. People want to know who they're doing business with. They want to see the people, the passion, and the personalities behind the logo.
And when your business is also your family's livelihood and legacy, how you present yourself carries even more meaning.
For me, this was more than a headshot session. It was a reminder of my own childhood and the incredible things that can happen when two people share a vision, a business, and a life.
Here's to the couples building businesses, raising families, and creating something that will outlast them both. I have a special appreciation for you.
