I board Ellie so since I’m not the only one taking her halter on and off I decided to add a cheek snap and lead rope snap for maximum convenience! These upgrades are available on lariat and flat nose custom halters 🌙

As much as I hate to admit it, summer is coming to an end which means fluffy winter coats will be here before you know it! I do think that winter photos with your horse can be just as beautiful but sleek and shiny coats are easier to clean for you guys and easier to edit for me! So here’s your sign that if you’ve been waiting to book, now’s the time 👏🏻

I have a few openings left in September and October and just a reminder that there are group discounts available for black background sessions! Get all of your barn friends together and have photos that capture your horses personality and beauty 💕

Just a few images from the Bear Lake county horse show gallery!
I grew up being involved in 4H so I was excited to do take photos at this show! All the kids did such a great job with their horses and have given me the motivation I needed to get back in the saddle after my long break 😆

For competitors and parents: As usual these photos will be up for one month, after that you’ll have to reach out to me for photos and there will be an additional retrieval fee. Link will be in the comments below until 9/12/26

I can’t miss the a chance to post about my girl Ellie on National I Love Horses Day!

I was definitely not looking for a yearling when I was horse shopping 3 years ago but Ellie unexpectedly fell into my lap and I just couldn’t pass her up. She’s my dream horse in every possible way and I’m not exaggerating when I say I can’t imagine my life without my love bug!

One thing I love about being an equine photographer is getting to see the bond and hear the fun stories you have with your horse, so I want to see your favorite photo of your heart horse in the comments below ❤️

PS you would think that an equine photographers horse would have a lot of flattering photos but 75% of them end up like the 2nd and 3rd pictures 🤦🏼‍♀️

I’ve officially decided that I need to be practicing my photography skills on kitties cause dang these stinkers are difficult! The only good ones I got were when they would sit still for .2 seconds and the rest are a blur of them wrestling each other 😂 I sure am gonna miss them when they head to their new homes this weekend!

I’m down to 2 more sessions openings before I take my maternity leave! Here’s what’s available:

- Horse & Rider Portrait session the evening of June 12th, near or in Bellevue, Idaho
- Horse & Rider Portrait session or 1-2 black background sessions the morning of June 12th, in between Bellevue and Pocatello, Idaho

Heavily discounted travel fee for these sessions!

Other than that, my next available sessions will start up again mid August. I’m going to wait a bit longer to post official available dates but I have already booked a few sessions for late summer so feel free to reach out if you have been wanting to schedule!

Taking foal pictures this year was something I really wanted to do this spring. Well that was a bad idea because now I’m calculating how many shoots I need to book to get one of these cuties 😍
