I get a lot of comments about my on wedding days. Some people praise how efficient it is, while others make jokes asking how quickly I can draw my cameras like I'm from the Wild West.
The truth is, I am lost without my belt! Just a few weeks ago I realized my belt was in my car that my husband had at work. You better believe I readjusted my schedule and drove out of the way to get it.
Photographing a wedding day with one camera on hand as a lead photographer is not an option in my mind. I need to be able to shift between two cameras within seconds to capture a moment at different focal lengths. I don't like running to my camera bag if my camera has an error during the ring exhange. When you only have 2-3 minutes to capture a first dance, every moment matters.
Bottom line, I like being prepared and never want to skip a beat on a wedding day!
