Accentuate the Positive Scans Accentuate the Positive Scans is a scanning service that allows you to view your slides on a laptop, desktop or smartphone. I can scan 100 slides per hour.

Do you have a closet full of 35mm slides that you can’t view because your slide projector broke down in 1992? Accentuate the Positive Scans is a scanning service that will allow you to view your slides on your laptop, desktop or smartphone. The price per scan is .40¢ with a 15% discount for single orders of 500 slides or more. If your slides are full of scenery and no people, no problem. I’ll scan

those at no cost, even if you don’t want them anymore. Just give me your permission to keep them. When an order is done I will first return your originals to you. Once you confirm that you have received the originals I will send you a thumb drive holding your scans. There is an additional $5.50 charge for the thumb drive. If you prefer, you can include your own thumb drive or DVD with your slides, or I can share them with you via Google Photo at no charge. I was a photo archivist at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Library, a part of the US National Archives, for nearly 40 years and have run workshops on the care of audiovisual materials and on ways to preserve your family photos. Hello everyone. I hope all of you are feeling well as we wait out the Covid-19 Pandemic. I’ve noticed on social media that many of you are finding different activities to keep you busy as you self quarantine. Puzzles, Netflix, Amazon Prime and Disney+ are all excellent ways to pass the time. May I also suggest that this is a great time to be going through your family slides, negatives and photographs and allow Accentuate the Positive Scans to digitize them to high resolution TIFFS. You will be able to view them on your phone, PC, laptop or tablet. Slide and photo orders received through the end of May will only cost 20₵ per scan instead of the usual 25₵. Negatives will remain 25₵. You will still get the 15% discount for single orders over 500 items. So pull out those photo albums, negative sleeves, and slide trays and take advantage of your time at home. You can send them to the address on the attached business card or call me for pick up. Yes. I have a 3.5 inch card reader. I can save your photos and documents to a thumb drive for 50¢ per file.
