My first attempt to capture Deep sky object. The North America Nebula (NGC 7000 or Caldwell 20) is an emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus, close to Deneb (the tail of the swan and its brightest star). It is named because its shape resembles North America.
It is located roughly 2202 light years away and is roughly 90 light years across.
Being an emission nebula, means it contains ionised gas which emits light. The reddish colour that predominates is from ionised hydrogen emitting light in a deep-red optical wavelength called hydrogen-alpha.

Data was collected over 3 nights.

Comet 46P/ Wirtanen and M45/ Pleiades also know as Seven sisters together in one frame. The Comet 46P was making a closet approach on Sunday and was very close to M45. That made it possible to capture two interesting objects in one frame. Comet 46P was roughly 30 lunar orbits away. It has a very strong greenish colored coma. It is roughly three quarters of a mile wide and has a short orbit time of 5.4 years. It is too faint to be seen by naked eyes.
This image was made from 1 hours of data using Nikon D850 and nikon 80-400mm lens at 200mm. Tracked using Ioptron sky tracker pro. Stacked and processed using lightroom and photoshop using curve stretching.
