What a great night man oh man

My biggest "ick" in photography is when someone reaches out, and I respond within minutes—literally minutes. And then...silence. Not a "thank you," not an "I'll get back to you," not even a "hey girl, I'll talk things over with my man." Just nothing.

So I wait 2–3 days and follow up...Nothing. A week goes by...Still nothing, even though the messages are opened and seen. So I move on, because I respect my time and my booked clients.

Then three weeks later, they pop back up like: "Hey! I'm ready to secure my date." Babyyyy...By that point, I've booked two sessions, a wedding, a maternity shoot, and probably a senior session on that same date.

Photographers aren't Amazon Prime. We don't hold dates for weeks without communication.

If you’re serious about booking, talk to us. If you’re not ready yet, just say that. If life got busy, totally understandable—just communicate. I promise we’re not scary. We just want clarity, respect, and a little bit of common courtesy. Because your silence doesn’t just leave us hanging; it leaves someone else missing out on a date THEY were ready to book.

So here’s your friendly reminder: If you inquire...respond. If you need time...say that. If you changed your mind...let us know.

We’re humans running a business, not mind readers.
