My passion for photography began when I was a child looking at amazing images in National Geographic. Fascinated by light and how a great photo was created, I attended the School of Visual Arts in New York City and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in photography. My ability to engage a wide range of subjects led to a career in music and celebrity portrait photography with work featur

ed in more than two dozen publications, including Rolling Stone, Time and Vogue. In my 25-year career taking portraits and covering events, I capture the essence of each person and create a unique story for weddings, bar mitzvahs and other celebrations. Black and white square-format photography using the Rolleiflex film camera is a special service I offer. When I am not taking photos or teaching pinhole and cyanotype photography, I am biking with my son and daughter, cooking, gardening and walking our dog in Maplewood, NJ.
