Sometimes black and white film photos, especially medium format film like this one, have a kind of "mysterious" quality that is very difficult if not impossible to duplicate with a Bayer sensor in digital cameras. Digital might rule, but the real world is analog, and analog rocks.

Presenting “The Scrooge Series” inspired by the 1843 novel by Charles Dickens “A Christmas Carol”, As we all know...Scrooge is a cold-hearted miser who despises Christmas. The tale of his redemption by Marley, the Ghost of Christmas Past, Present and Future has become a defining tale of the Christmas holiday season. We learn in this great novel, that there is no more important thing, than love and kindness in our hearts, as giving to others from our hearts, is the greatest gift we can give.. Don Wise, is both Scrooge and Marley...I am the Ghosts. As hard as we worked on this, it was a lot of fun! So with that being said...we hope you enjoy our spin on “Scrooge and A Christmas Carol. Autumn is the season where every leaf become as beautiful as a flower and this year didn’t disappoint us. The fall colors peaked last week and the colors were explosive!!! Every chance Don and II got we tried to capture the beauty of the season. Don and I are super excited about how the new drone photos turned out, because we never know what might happen using new equipment!!! There is still time to go for a fall drive if you haven’t already; Kenyon College and Alum Creek are exceptionally beautiful to see. Mother Nature’s paintbrush is simply magic and there is still time to go for a drive around the countryside and see her work...but get out there soon...the leaves are already falling!!!
