What’s going on here in mid May
1. Ok, I saw this at garden in the woods and could not resist, I will now have a huge Tulip poplar (Lriodendron tulipifera) in the middle of my back yard. New garden will be coming for it 😊
2. Pawpaw (Asimina trioloba). Apparently it needs an even deeper pot!! Looks like a rocket ship launching
3. Great White Trillium (Trillium grandiflorum ‘Multiplex’), love this beauty
4. Bishop’s cap (Mitella diphylla), bunnies have since eaten the flowers off the top. Now in a cage but don’t know if it will bloom again this year or not…
5. Variegated Solomon’s Seal ‘Variegatum’ (Polygonium odoratum)
6-7 Azaleas and rhododendron
8. Creeping phlox (Phlox stolonifera), bunnies have decided to eat these blooms as well…
9. Sundial Lupine (Lupinus perennis)
10. Pink Flowering Dogwood (Cornus florida f rubra), really put on a show this year after minimal blooming last year
11. Rue anemone (Thalictrum thalictroides)
12. New veggie garden, harvesting radishes and leaf lettuce now 😊
13. Cornflower (Centaurea montana), this one bunnies let be this year 🙂
