The First 400 is an intricate story of a journey to bring a creative vision to life.

It represents small, everyday moments – the naturally spectacular sunsets, to the city lights reflected in a puddle on the street, the daily commute to and from work – that culminate into a greater picture.

Spend time getting lost in the maze of the details – but don’t forget to zoom out every once in a while and appreciate the journey and what has been created.

The Day After Tomorrow 🌪

Yesterday, it was quite a wild ride on the weather front. After reaching nearly 40 degrees celsius during the morning, we had multiple storms pass through the city which resulted in downpours all afternoon.
It was amazing to watch the clouds gather and unleash their fury, very similar to being beneath the crashing waves!

Let me know in the comments if you want to see a BTS reel of an incredible time lapse from this storm?

A New Dawn ☀️

It was my first time shooting an eclipse and there is so much planning ahead of time that I wasn't quite sure how it was all going to pan out.
In the end I decided to try and get a unique perspective as I guessed most of the photographer's lenses would be pointed at the CN Tower for this once off moment.

Once I arrived home after shooting the eclipse I started to see absolutely incredible images of the CN Tower and immediately regretted my decision! 🙈
After spending some time editing my images and seeing the final result, I am actually rather happy that I had my lens pointed elsewhere and that I am able to share a different view of yesterday's phenomenon.

For reference, the tall building is the Aura building in downtown Toronto.

Blinded by the lights 🤩

This spot right here could quite possibly be the best spot in the city.
It's impossible not to stop and stare.

Do you think there is a better place to see the city from?

After a difficult 2020, I challenged myself to go on a trip at least once a month to reconnect with nature. During these trips I want to continue to grow as a photographer and develop my video and film making skills.

My second trip took me to Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. After the recent snowfall, the park was covered in snow and made for the perfect escape for a winter camping trip. The weather was starting to warm up after the recent snow which meant a sunrise hike was definitely on the cards.
The winter landscapes were some of the best views I have ever seen and I spent hours taking photo's trying my best to capture all the beauty. After all the hiking, some fantastic camp fire cooked meals finished off the trip perfectly.

I hope you enjoy the journey with me to Algonquin and be sure to like and subscribe to see where my trip next month takes me.

This is a shot that I took earlier this week of the CN Tower shining brightly in front of the rising moon.

It’s always a huge honor to be able to get my work shared by communities such as this.

Shooting the Milky Way ✨

This shot was taken at Torrance Barrens Dark Sky Reserve during the last new moon. It was an absolute pleasure to shoot some astro with a bunch of other passionate photographers.

I highly recommend taking a trip out to the reserve to connect with nature and ogle at some stars! 🤩

Sometimes, as a photographer, I push myself to think outside the box. I try to find the angles that most people wouldn't think of and utilize props and tools that I always have on hand.
Are there any creative tricks that you use when shooting? Let me know in the comments.

This is a series of cityscapes taken during my travels of French Canada. The architecture and the roads are distinctly different to other major Canadian cities and give off a very European feel.
I love being able to wander the streets and capture the different angles of all these beautiful buildings. Next on the list, I need to capture them all in the snow.

At the end of August, the city of Toronto plays host to the Canadian National Exhibition. For the last 70 years, the exhibition has always finished with a memorable air show and 2019 was no different.

Here are some of the views from the show, which included the RAF Red Arrows, Canadian Snowbirds and many more.

Let me know which one is your favourite in the comments.
