A shot of the fabulous Aeram from a portrait session at the end of June. Aeram had booked a 1/2 price portrait session in March, and it had also been five years since their last family portrait session, so it was delightful and heartwarming to see her and her family again and capture some moments for them.

I'm happy to be offering another round of 1/2 price portraits in Toronto for another couples of weeks, with 10% of proceeds going to in support of Palestinian families from Gaza. Be sure to DM for details or to book a session. It would be wonderful to connect!

Peace and blessings, everyone!

I've been keeping an eye out on the weather over the past couple of days and noticed that there's a chance it might be raining during the initial timeslot for next week's Mindfulness Photowalk, so I've decided it's best to move it to Thursday. Fingers crossed that the weather cooperates that day, insha'Allah/God-Willing! 🤞🏻

The photowalk is a 90-minute experience that will combine guided photography prompts with mindfulness practices to help us reconnect with our surroundings and creativity. No experience is needed, just a camera (the one on your phone is great, if that's what you have), and a willingness to slow down and pause.

Participants will also get the chance to have their portrait taken (no pressure if you prefer not to be photographed), so you'll have a photo of yourself to take away as a keepsake of the experience.

10% of proceeds go to in support of Palestinian families from Gaza.

Port Union Waterfront Park is one of my favourite spots in Toronto - many wonderful moments; my beloved husband and I even had our walima portraits taken there - so I'm grateful to be offering a Mindfulness Photowalk there next Wednesday July 30th from 6:30pm to 8:00pm.

Peace and blessings! I noticed this evening that several email inquiries had gone to my spam folder. After attempting to mark the messages as 'not spam', the emails disappeared and I have no way of replying to the senders. My apologies to anyone who had emailed and not heard back from me. I usually do my best to get back to folks within 24 to 48 hours.

I have to confess that I'm feeling a bit anxious about not being able to reply to those inquiries since the emails disappeared. I would never want someone to think that I just never got back to them after they emailed to inquire about potentially photographing with me.
