Hey friends. I wanted to share a quick update and ask for continued prayers and support.

I’ve decided to extend the t-shirt order deadline to February 14. First, thank you so much to everyone who has already placed an order—your support truly means more than you know. I’ll keep you updated as soon as shirts go into production.

The reason for extending orders is due to some unexpected changes for Mrs. Victoria. Unfortunately, she developed an infection and is currently in surgery as I’m posting this. This journey has already been so heavy, and this added complication has been especially hard on her and her family.

Mini sessions for a later date are still available, and I want to be clear that ALL proceeds go directly to Mrs. Victoria. If you feel led to support her through this cancer battle, please refer back to my original post for payment details so funds can be sent directly to her or her daughter, Daisha.

More than anything, please keep Mrs. Victoria and her family in your prayers. Thank you for showing up 💗

This post is close to my heart 💗

Someone very special to me is walking through a season no family is ever prepared for. My friend Daisha’s mama, Mrs. Victoria Wilson, was recently diagnosed with breast cancer and will be undergoing surgery soon. As she recovers, they’ll also be waiting on results to determine the next steps in her treatment.

Daisha is right in the middle of it all—loving on her mama, advocating for her, and serving as her primary caregiver during this time. If you know Daisha, you know how selfless she is, and now it’s our turn to pour back into her and her family.

To help ease the financial burden that comes with surgery and recovery, Doneisha Duke Photography will be hosting two fundraisers in honor of Mrs. Victoria.

🎀 Fundraiser #1: T-Shirts (orders close January 30th. All money will need to be collected by January 28th)

🎀 Fundraiser #2: Mini Sessions at The Hideaway
• $80 | 15-minute sessions
• Date will be announced soon (weather-dependent, within the next week or two)
All proceeds will go toward surgery costs and additional expenses during recovery.

If you feel led to give beyond either fundraiser, cash or checks will go directly to Daisha. If you are unable to do a mini session for the date that I have planned, I will gladly honor sessions for other dates as long as you’re able to pay the session fee.

Tip for all the brides:

If you plan to use anything in this vase or similar for ANY of your floral arrangements, be sure to buy this spray to use on those arrangements. This is going to keep them fluffy, but eliminate the shedding! 💗

Easter Mini Sessions. 🐑🌿
This year’s minis will feature the same beloved setup as last year — my wooden bench, soft greenery, and a live lamb. With the help of a photographer friend, I was able to secure a lamb, and I’m SO excited.

Session Details:
• March 28 | $80 for 15 minutes
• Includes images with and without the lamb
• Cousins/friends are welcome, but each family must book their own time slot
• Pricing is slightly higher this year due to the lamb’s rental and travel cost
• If you miss your session time, you’ll need to find a replacement or cover the remaining balance

I didn’t disappear — I realigned. And I’m back. 🤍

This past season was about learning how to steward what matters most: my faith, my family, and the gifts God has trusted me with. I stepped back to create a business that honors the Lord, serves my clients well, and still allows me to be present for my husband and my son — without burnout, rushed edits, or overwhelm.

Now? I’m coming back bold, creative, and full of new ideas.This year will look different, but in the best way. More intentional sessions. Elevated storytelling. Thoughtful timelines. And work that feels meaningful, timeless, and set apart.

This comeback isn’t about doing more, it’s about doing better. Better art. Better balance. Better service. And sessions that feel as special as the moments you’re in.

Hey friends 🤍 I’m stepping slightly outside my usual true-to-color editing style to experiment with a moodier, more cinematic look — still natural, still vibrant, just with a softer edge.

I’m looking for one couple willing to model for this creative test session. I have a white, flowy dress to style the female, and the male should wear jeans with a darker-colored shirt.

Because this is a creative experiment, the session will be heavily discounted. If you love raw emotion, silly giggles, and those “I love you” eyes — this one’s for you.
