The first time I picked up a camera, I knew that someday I would do something with great with photography. Whether it would be taking random nature pictures or candid pictures of friends and family, I knew I would go far. It becomes a part of who I am and allows me to capture people, nature and life in general from the point of view only I get to see. Being able to share those images is an even be
tter feeling. I grew up in a small town in Bolton Vermont, living around nature; I first began to take pictures of things I could see around me. I never went out looking for pictures, but I let them come to me. To be able to take the simplest of things and put them into a new perspective was a great joy. In 2002, I attended a small state college 'Lyndon State College' in Lyndonville, Vermont. I wanted to pursue my career as a Journalism and Writing Major with a strong focus in Creative Writing. However, after my first year, I decided to expand my interest and pick up a second degree in Graphic Design. I had always been such a creative person that I figured the two would go hand in hand perfectly with each other. After graduating in May of 2007 I spent the remainder of the year in Vermont and then moved to Denver, Colorado in 2008 and then to West Des Moines, Iowa in 2009. I found a job at a great photography studio, and spent 4 years working in the studio environment, before I decided it was time to branch out on my own to allow for more creative freedom. I am a very upbeat, positive, always smiling person. I love working with children of all ages, and enjoy working with a variety of different people. I love being able to capture the true personality of each and every individual.
