As this year comes to a close and a new one begins, I want to share something from the heart.
At the beginning of the new year, I will not be continuing business as DK Photography after 13 beautiful, transformative years.
This decision hasn’t come lightly. DK Photography has been such a huge part of my life, growing with me, shaping me, and allowing me to create magic alongside so many incredible souls. I am endlessly grateful for every client who trusted me with their stories, their milestones, their worlds. Those memories will always mean more to me than I can put into words.
Over time, new chapters have unfolded and new dreams have come into fruition. In all honesty, the business side of things began to make it difficult for me to find my spark again, the part of me that fell in love with creating in the first place. And I’ve learned that sometimes honoring your art means allowing it to evolve, even when that change is bittersweet.
This isn’t a goodbye to creativity. I’ll still be here, still sharing, still creating as opportunities arise and as I find my way back to my creative roots.... purely, freely, and with intention.
Thank you for 13 years of love, support, trust, and magic. This chapter will always hold a special place in my heart, and I’m so excited to see where the next ones lead. 🤍
