I have been thinking a lot about this account lately and my love/hate relationship with social media. I have always been a more private person and I place a much larger value on the real relationships I have in my life. It’s always felt unnatural to me to post so much about my life for “likes”, but at the same time I recognize the amazing value and human perspective that social media adds to any business.

Over the past 5 years, my life has changed SO much. I have established myself as a wedding photographer, I purchased a business (heyyy ), did a full buildout and rebrand, opened a new business (looking at you ), built an amazing team of 15(!!!) women, got engaged, got married, had a baby, travelled all over the place, sold a house, bought a house, built a brand new store for our off the rack location, and now we are onto baby #2.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
And through all of that, describing myself as just a photographer doesn’t seem like “me” anymore. Don’t get me wrong. I LOVE photographing weddings and families. That’s why I still do it. I have not given up on this role of mine at all and still very much consider myself a photographer. I don’t see that passion going anywhere. I think I’m just more multifaceted now, and I want this account to reflect that.

I want to show you peeks into my life not only as a photographer but as a bridal shop owner, a team leader, a traveler, and someone who is always trying to figure it all out. So don’t mind me while I start to sprinkle some of that in here. If you stick around, you’ll probably start seeing more than just pretty pictures, although I still love those too ;)

Thanks for being here! 💕
