Today we went out hiking and enjoyed some of the fall color. My wife wasn't super pleased with the project idea I started working on that I'm thinking to call "Blood Everywhere". Yes I carried a bottle of fake blood with for a nice fall hike... what do you think? Good Halloween season photography project? (The fake blood will easily wash away once it rains once or twice, and probably give some hikers a few scares until it does.) Also, this photo is as-shot. No editing done yet.

Check out the album of weird composite photos I've been doing

Composites using photographs I've taken while out in the woods. Nature has many hidden patterns that we wouldn't normally look for. These photos turn out similar to a Rorschach test - what do you see?

Just wanted to share what I worked on this semester. The first half of the photos focuses on pure landscapes where the second half is focused on things that people create or leave behind amongst landscapes. You can also look at it here:

Needed to test out a Canon AE1 I recently picked up so I ran a couple rolls of Kodak through it at Leif Erikson park in Duluth taking photos of people doing people things. Turned out to be an interesting series of photos. These are straight outta the film - no edits or anything.
