Throwback because I still can’t get over this one. 🖤

This is one of my favorite photos I’ve ever taken.
The entire session was basically us saying, “Okay buddy...what are we doing next?” 😂 Little man had his own agenda that day, and instead of fighting it, we followed his lead. We explored, took snack breaks, rode trikes, picked up treasures, and embraced every little moment in between.

That’s one of the things I love most about photographing families. I don’t expect your kids to perform.

I adjust to them.

The result? Real moments like this—the ones that tell your family’s story exactly as it is.

And in my opinion...those are always the photos that matter most. 🤍

📸✨ Guess who’s back behind the camera…
Okay, so it’s been a little quiet around here… like over a year quiet 😅
Moving states, settling our family, figuring out life in a new place — it all happened so fast that somewhere in the middle of it I accidentally hit pause on this page.
But here’s the thing… photography has never really been on pause in my heart.
So consider this my official “I’m back” post.
We’re now settled in Western Michigan, and I’m finally ready to start doing what I love here — capturing the real, messy, beautiful moments that make life yours.
