There is something very different about walking into a professional newborn studio and knowing everything is already prepared for you. 🤍

One of the most common questions I get is: When is the best time to schedule maternity photos?
For most moms, I recommend planning your session around 28–34 weeks, when your belly is beautifully defined but you’re still comfortable enough to move, pose, and enjoy the experience.
Maternity sessions can be elegant, simple, dramatic, or soft and romantic. My West Windsor studio includes a collection of maternity gowns, fabrics, and styling options, so you don’t need to arrive with an entire wardrobe. Partners and children can also be included to make the session feel like part of your family’s story.
If you’re expecting this fall, winter, or in 2027, it’s a good idea to reserve your session early so we can plan the look and timing without rushing.

I book newborn sessions by your due date, then once baby arrives we confirm the actual session date. This gives us flexibility while making sure I have space for you during those first precious weeks.
Newborn sessions are relaxed, baby-led, and include beautiful styling, wraps, props, and time for parent and sibling photos too. My goal is to create timeless images that still feel like your family years from now.

A question parents sometimes worry about before a cake-smash session is, “What happens if my baby doesn’t like the cake?”
Nothing bad at all. 🤍
Every baby reacts differently. Some immediately grab handfuls of frosting, while others carefully investigate it or barely touch the cake. I don’t rush or force a reaction. I photograph the expressions and personality that naturally happen.
Those serious little looks, curious fingers, surprised faces, and eventual smiles often become some of my favorite photographs from the entire session.
Your baby only turns one once, and the goal is to remember your baby exactly as they were at this age — not to create a performance.
