Mother’s Day looks different for me this year. 🤍

As I navigate grief and learn to carry the loss of my mom, I’ve been reminded more than ever how meaningful photographs truly are. They become pieces of love we get to hold onto forever.

To every mom being celebrated today, every mother figure, and everyone missing their mom, I’m holding space for you today.

Mother’s Day is approaching, and if I’m honest, my heart feels a little heavier this year. There’s an ache that comes with missing someone so deeply, and moments where the sadness and anxiety feel overwhelming.

But in the middle of it all, I also feel incredibly blessed. Blessed that I get to freeze these moments in time for so many mothers and families. Blessed that through my camera, I get to create memories that will be cherished forever.

This season has reminded me more than ever how important photos truly are, they become pieces of our stories, reminders of love, laughter, and the people who mean everything to us. 🤍

I’m excited to share that I’ll be opening my books again starting 5/15 🤍

This past month has been a difficult one, as I’ve been busy planning services for my mom. Although I wish I could have taken more time away, I’ve realized how much I truly love what I do—creating has been something that’s helped me get through some of the hardest moments.

I’m so grateful for everyone who showed me patience, understanding, and support during this time. It has meant more than I can put into words.

I’m thankful to be stepping back into this and can’t wait to create with you again. If you’ve been waiting to book, I’d love to connect ✨

During this time, I will be stepping away from my business to be with my mom, who is currently on hospice. Family is my priority right now, and I’m taking this time to be present with her.

All scheduled clients have been personally contacted. If anything changes, I will reach out directly.
