“Here I am, Lord. Send me.” 🤍

The 6 words that have been echoing in my mind for the past several weeks. While I have no idea what exactly they mean; I know there is something stirring in my soul! Will it affect my photography? I have no idea!!

As I posted a while back, my photography calendar is FULL for the rest of the year!!!🥹 And while I am SO incredibly thankful, I’m also over here like… how am I supposed to keep saying no to people when I want to say YES to everyone?! You guys keep asking and believe me, I feel so incredibly bad saying "no" to your inquiry!

I truly hate turning people away. I wish I could take every single session that comes my way, but I’m learning that I can’t do it all! And apparently, my solution to the discomfort of having to turn people away due to a full schedule, is to then take THREE MONTHS OFF! 😂😂

I'm booked through November but then I have decided to take December, January & February off from photography!

If I’m being honest, that makes me a little nervous and stressed… but I also feel like this time off is really important!

My family has been placed on the back burner due to all of my sessions for so long and I want to be able to give them my all and fully enjoy the holidays with them without any kind of distractions!

And as I said before, I also just really feel like God is stirring in both mine and my husband's hearts on having something planned for us and I want to be able to spend more quiet time with the Lord, and just see where He leads! I don’t know exactly what He’s stirring up or what’s coming next, but I’m excited to make room for it. 🤍

My plan is to be back behind the camera in March, but ultimately… it’s all up to Him! ✨

I'll be here continuing to share sessions through November! And if you're wanting to schedule anything for next year– let me know!😊

I also would love it if you would pray for my family and I during this season as we are seeking the Lord's will above all!🩷

Here’s to slowing down, trusting God, and embracing a little more “I don’t know, but I trust You.” 🫶🏼

These three couples sessions were all photographed within an hour of each other and they all have a slightly different vibe! Clothing, location, and lighting can completely change the final look and feel of your photos! And I love that!

It’s one of my favorite things about photography — you can essentially customize your photos to fit the mood you're wanting!

A misty sky and the sweetest family!! Our session was cut short due to a heavy downpour, unfortunately. But we laughed and laughed walking back to our vehicles in the rain together! Their joy after a long day for me just filled my cup right up! If you don't know this family; you're really missing out!

I had 3 back to back sessions today and was able to avoid the rain until the middle of my last session! I got stuck in a downpour with the sweetest family! We laughed and laughed on our long walk back to our cars in the heaviest rain! We didn't get all of the photos we wanted but man was it so good for my soul to experience that laughter and connection with my clients!🥰 I love what I do and I thank God for every person He brings into my life through this little business!❤️❤️
