Hi friends 🤍

Please bear with me today as I work on getting galleries back. I had to unexpectedly put my very first cat down this morning, while she did live with my parents she was my very first pet I ever had on my own.

She was there for me through some of the hardest seasons of my life. The quiet moments, the chaos, the in-between… she was always there. And losing her has completely broken my heart.

I’m still showing up and doing my best, but today might be a little slower than usual. I appreciate your patience and kindness more than you know.

Ok so I got a quote on florals and I would have to charge like $300 for Mother’s Day, amd i dont eant to do that…..
So what do we think of this? I’m thinking that I want more greenery, because the butterflies will be real.

Today I captured a goodbye.
The kind that splits your heart open…
because it isn’t just a session.
It’s someone’s whole world wrapped up in one last moment.
These Celebration of Life sessions are always free, because I believe no one should ever have to choose between grieving and affording memories. Everyone deserves the chance to say goodbye… and to have something beautiful to hold onto when the silence feels too loud.
I don’t share these sessions often, and when I do I make sure that I share a candid moment.
Not because they aren’t some of the most meaningful work I will ever do…
but because they are sacred.
Grief is raw.
Love is raw.
And these moments belong to the families who are living through the unimaginable.
But sometimes a single image quietly says what words never could…
That love doesn’t leave.
Not really.
It stays in the kisses,
in the tears,
in the goodbye that feels impossible…
and in the bond that even death cannot touch.
Its truly one of the highest honors to me..

This session was extra special 🦋💜
The purple butterflies weren’t just for the set… they perfectly match baby’s nursery theme, and mom literally MADE her own butterfly dress for these photos.
Like… are you kidding?! The love, the thought, the creativity… everything about this was so meaningful.
Dad couldn’t stop smiling at her the whole time, and baby is already so deeply loved.
Maternity sessions like this are pure magic.
