Usually I am so excited for fall to be here because fall photos are amazing! 🍂 but these photos of the Sommer Family are making me wish summer could stay just a little longer! ☀️ everything about these photos are just perfection - the laughter you can hear, the memories you can feel and don’t get me started on the amazing outfits and sunset combo just making these photos feel so warm! 🖤

Why did I have to meet such an amazing photographer and person right before moving! 😭 But I feel so lucky that she trusted me with her first family photos since her twins were 2, they're 8 now!
Now, when she booked and I reviewed her answers to the questionnaire and saw she had 3 almost pr***en boys I was so nervous! Most of the time I am not cool enough for pr***ens, especially boys but these boys were down for whatever. 🖤 AND to make everything even easier, I don't think this family even knows what a fake laugh is because they just laughed the whole time! As for dad, he rolled with everything too and honestly, I think playing with the rocks was more for him then it was for the kids. 😂

I already shared a few from Rylee and Jayden's session, but going through the full gallery again, I kept finding photos I couldn't leave out. 😍 This family is just too cute to keep to myself. The piggyback rides, the twirl in the field, dad tossing baby girl toward the sky like she's the lightest thing in the world. It's the kind of gallery that makes the job easy. 📸

Polly booked this session the second she saw “wooden planes + bubbles” on the mini list, her son’s two favorite things. And we had proof within minutes: he flew that plane all around their little spot, toward mom and dad, over to me, and right back to them, making engine noises the entire time. Then bubbles came out and he was determined to pop every last one. 🫧

Mom and dad couldn’t stop watching him. And honestly? Pretty sure dad was having just as much fun, he was right there making his own sound effects and flying his own plane around. ✈️

She started as a name pulled from a comment section, and ended up giving me one of my favorite sessions! 😍

Rylee won my 1,000 follower giveaway, and when I suggested a few ideas for the session, she and Jayden were down for anything, no hesitation, just along for the ride. It wasn't until afterward that I found out this was their first professional shoot with their girl, besides a quick Christmas mini. Explains nothing, honestly, because they moved like they'd done this a hundred times. 🖤

The best part: it was baby girl's first time ever seeing bubbles. Watching her face the second they hit the air, equal parts confused and mesmerized, might be my favorite moment from the whole shoot. That gummy grin. Those thighs. 🥰

Congrats again on the win, Rylee, but really, congrats on this little family. This one reminded me why I love what I do.🫶🏼

This one’s personal. This fall, I’m hosting my last round of mini sessions before I move. Four locations, four dates, and everything I love about this season packed into one final lineup. If you’ve been wanting to book with me, this is the one.

✨The Details
• $175 per session
• $75 non-refundable retainer to reserve your spot (applied toward your total, not an extra fee)
• Remaining $100 balance due 1 week before your session date
• 15 minutes
• All edited photos
• Spots are limited at each location!

Once these four dates are full, that’s it. No more minis after this. Let’s make this last set count.

🌹 The Rose Garden Minis (September 6th)
Sun-drenched and romantic, set right in the middle of a blooming rose garden at golden hour. Think warm rust and blush tones, roses spilling into every frame, and that soft editorial glow. Beautiful for couples, milestone sessions, or anyone who wants dreamy, garden-party energy in their photos.

🌅 The Rolling Hills Minis (September 20th)
Big sky, golden fields, and windmills stretching to the horizon. This location is all wide-open drama with sweeping, cinematic backdrops and plenty of room to move, play, and just be together. Sunset does most of the work here. Perfect for families and couples who want something that feels bigger than a backyard photo.

🪵 The Log & Lake Minis (October 4th)
A quiet, rustic spot by the water: a fallen log, turning leaves, and still water reflecting the sky. Relaxed and unposed, this one’s built for genuine laughter and real connection over stiff, formal portraits. A favorite for families with little ones who’d rather explore than sit still.

🍂 The Fall Leaves Minis (October 18th)
Classic autumn, no filter needed: a big old tree, leaves falling everywhere, golden late-October light. This is the leaf-toss, multi-generational, “this is what fall is supposed to look like” session.
