Jason Eldridge Photo This is where you can come to learn and share about nature, landscape, and wildlife photography. I love photography and I am passionate about training.

My name is Jason Eldridge and I started getting into photography in early 2001. My wife and I were living in East TN near the Great Smoky Mountains and for years this was my location of choice. Well, life has a way of changing and I now live in Homestead, Florida (just south of Miami) with my lovely wife and our son. This site focuses on training and gear for photographers or anyone that might be interested in photography. If you have any questions just shoot me an e-mail or give me a call.

This is NGC 7822, also known as the Cosmic Question Mark. You would have to see it vertical to get the "question mark" part. I found it last night as the clouds forgot where we lived.

This is nearly 3 hours of exposure.

Here is another return to one of my first astrophotography targets. This is M16, also known as the Eagle Nebula. At the brightest part of the core you can see the famous Pillars of Creation.

The Eagle Nebula is a stellar nursery about 5,700 light-years away in Serpens.

This is one of the first nebula I attempted to image when just starting out last year so I decided to return to it.

The Lagoon Nebula (M8), a stellar nursery about 4,000 to 6,000 light-years away in Sagittarius. Radiation from young, hot stars is carving out the bright central cavity in this cloud of gas and dust, one of the most active star-forming regions visible from Earth.

Much has happened over the last few months. We’ve moved into our new place and the skies have been cloudy every night… except tonight they cleared!

This is from our new backyard.

IC 443, known as the Jellyfish Nebula, is the aftermath of a supernova. This is a cloud of energized gas still expanding outward, shaped by shockwaves interacting with surrounding space.

Back at it today with the South Florida National Parks Camera Club, Inc. at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands for a camera club field trip. The weather wasn't looking favorable all week but ended up perfect.
