Starting off the 2027 Senior year with one of my favs! This girl has been in front of our cameras so many times! (Well, her and her mom both). Always fun, always just the right amount of "extra" and always beautiful!
She says her favorite thing is whenI'm shooting and Kerry's says "ohhhh, let's try this...". : )
We can't wait to share more portraits from this session later.

Hey, all! If you're looking to upgrade your photography skills, Arkansas Professional Photographers Association is an awesome place to start.

The APPA summer Capture conferences are a great place to learn and meet other people from around the state that are interested in photography. There are a bunch of different classes this year and I can't wait to learn from some of the best.

Rounding out the 2026 Senior season with the Wilson twins. Tobias and Tyler are fantastic young men and we had a blast running around downtown. We almost thought this session wasn't going to happen, as we were heading across the bridge, torrential rain started but, by the time we got parked and the wagon loaded we were good to go! There's something to be said for wet streets in photography. If you keep an eye out, you'll notice streets are ALWAYS wet in the movies. I think that may have pushed me towards being a little more cinematic with this session. I LOVE the way they turned out.

Thank you to those who gave all so that we could live in this amazing country.

It may not be perfect, but it’s ours and I’m thankful for it.

Today isn't about us. It's about the ones who aren't here.

Every operator who's walked our ranges knows a name. Every family who's waited at the door knows a face. Some came home. Some didn't.

Today we sit with the ones who didn't.

We don't need to say their names out loud. You know who they are. We do too.

Small businesses don't survive on talent alone - we survive (and thrive) because of the people who keep believing in what we do!

Jessica has supported our business for so long now. She books sessions, invests in portraits and wall art. She has even collected several of my limited-edition artwork. Honestly, there’s no telling how many of my pieces she has hanging in her home at this point.

That kind of support is never lost on me. It is overwhelming in the best way. The only word I can think of to describe it is verklempt.

We simply could not do what we do without families like hers — people who believe in the work, trust the process, and keep showing up year after year. I’m incredibly thankful for her, for her support, and for both of her awesome kids. If you know them, you know what i mean.

This senior session was exactly the kind of session that reminds me why I still love doing this.
