Today marks the start of a series I’ve been so excited to share with you all! Over the summer, I’ve photographed and interviewed several women who have been incredibly inspiring to me. Each interview was formatted a little differently with some focusing more on the woman’s story and others more structured around their vocations and roles in the community, but all of them share so much wisdom and thoughtful conversation on our current culture.

Chris Whitford is photographed below. She's the CEO and one of the founders of Avail NYC, a nonprofit that exists to provide men and women with the services and support they need to make a decision about an unexpected pregnancy. It was such an honor to hear her heart and vision for Avail and to get her in front of my camera for a few minutes. Interview available at the link below.

A few favorites from my session with the Freeman family last week. 💛 We spent the rainy morning at Reed College and watching their kids explore & play with all the sticks and leaves they could find was pretty much the cutest. I so love photographing grads during the school year, but it's been so fun to have so many sweet families in front of my camera this summer! And such an honor to be invited to capture the seasons they're all in.

I’ve so loved doing some brand photography for and since I made the move down to Texas! Hey hey! 🙋🏻‍♀️ It’s been a hot minute since I’ve showed my face around here. I’m Halle Judea and I’m a big fan of Jesus, red lipstick, tacos, and striped clothing.
My photography career started at age seven as an excuse to go on ice cream dates with my dad (he used to shoot weddings and if I went to rehearsals with him, he’d let us stop for a treat on the way home). Needless to say, I did not think I’d still be holding a camera ten years later, but I fell in love and couldn’t be more excited by and in awe of all that I get to do each day.
I grew up in New York City and the Pacific Northwest so I spend a good amount of time in both places, but am currently based out of Waco, TX while I study International Relations & Pre-medicine at Baylor University ( ). 💛💚

Feeling super thankful today for all the pretty places I’ve been able to visit and the incredible communities across the country and world I’ve been able to form while traveling. 💛 Next up on the travel to-do list is Morocco! Has anyone been?? Any amazing tips or must-see/do list items for me?
