Tied with a bow. I’ve been a coastal granddaughter since before it was a thing — and now I’m the coastal grandmother to all my coastal granddaughters. 💙

Even when blue stripes, French baskets, linen, and espadrilles fall out of favor, I’ll still be here channeling Diane Keaton, quoting Edith Beale and admiring Jane Fonda's unshakeable depth all while making bad jokes that go best with a Negroni.

Every photo from this day. When you are given the biggest windstorm and you can't go outside because tents are flying BUT you get this instead.

These photos bring me so much joy, both the moments and the people in them. Forming a friendship with the bride through this process was something I try not to do (because I am always trying to be so professional) but it was inevitable. So many of my couples become friends because I get to be there for some of the most precious moments of their lives. Anyways, there is no way you can meet this bride. Brianna and not want to be her friend. What a joy it is to photograph for new friends and to bear witness to their most important moments.

Hold my drink because I could post about the Owenego Inn on the Long Island Sound forever.

It’s the kind of place that hasn’t traded its soul for the spotlight. Step onto the lawn and it’s suddenly 1950’s Connecticut again. When the shoreline was all weathered cottages, salty breezes, and summers that stretched on without a clock in sight.

Two sisters. Same church. Same Grandmom’s blessing.
The first time, I thought it was a once-in-a-lifetime moment—Grandmom's hand gently on the bride’s arm, reaching out to give her blessing as she walks to her next chapter. The second time, I knew—it wasn’t tradition, it was instinct.

Capturing this exact moment for both sisters, is something I hope they will hold onto closely for all of time. I hope I never forget this simple gesture of reaching out and how much it means.

Flowers, arches, and that soft golden light? Yes please. Peak bloom in June is a total dream, but even in early fall, it’s pure romance. This is only for the early morning lovers as the crowds and light aren't nearly as lovely in the crowded, hot afternoons. Bonus: coffee Story and Soil for breakfast after!

Harkness Memorial Park – Waterford
Beach and mansion vibes? Don’t mind if we do. Think dramatic wind-swept moments, stone terraces, and golden hour by the sea. Sunset photos here are everything. Make sure to head to your session early stop The Book Barn in close by Niantic.

Hartford City Hall - Hartford
Perfect for afternoon sessions that require epic staircases -this is your chance to wear an over the top dress and for it to look just right, running through city streets and even stopping at the top of my favorite parking garage for photos views in your favorite pair of jeans, wind in your hair and golden light for days.
