Took this one spontaneously around 10pm before going to bed 💫 has been an absolute treat, even with the heat and some smoke we were able to reach high enough elevation ~7000ft to get above the cloud, even at this height the temps were still warm.

After seeing many photos of the night sky taken in US National Parks over the years I’ve been most looking forward to these areas on our road trip specifically for star gazing / photographing 🏜️ Many National Parks offer free star gazing tours starting at around ~9pm. Just visit a Visitor Centre to found out more. I’d highly recommend going along and learning about our universe with the clearest night skies you may possibly ever see. 🌌

I’ve personally felt like I’ve stepped away from photography for the past couple of years. It feels great to be back on the road. I’ve recently been feeling something I haven’t fully felt for a while. Freedom. Many of us experience difficulties being in foreign countries other than our own, I’ve been living away from the UK now for 8 years. Super glad with the choices I’ve made for myself over the past while. Just know we’re having a time of our lives and hope to connect with you all again soon ✨
