Christina Adele Photography

Christina Adele Photography Landscape photography. I grew up in the city of Moreno Valley, CA. Every summer my parents would take us on the road to escape the heat and smog of my hometown.

We visited many national parks and by the time I was in second grade, I had my mind made up that I would someday live in these beautiful places. Fortunately, my dreams came true and I landed that much desired job. After working at Grand Canyon, Grand Teton, Yosemite, Yellowstone, and Zion, I now live in Glacier National Park in Northern Montana. Because I am fortunate enough to call these places h

ome, I have been able to see them in many different conditions, and try to capture them only at their absolute best.

It is my goal that by sharing these places with you, you will be inspired to visit them and form your own similar connection to these lands I have based my life around. I hope that I can show you how special and irreplaceable our National Parks are and inspire you to help care for them and help others to do the same.

There is nothing like rain in Zion. It was always my favorite to watch as the clouds seemed to form from nowhere and create waterfalls. On this particular day I was directing traffic up at the tunnel, counting the minutes for a colleague to come relieve me so I could finally capture the conditions I had been watching unfold for the past few hours. Probably my favorite photos I captured during my year and a half living in Zion.

On this day in 2018.

Historically speaking, I have witnessed some pretty fantastic sunsets on January 25th. Maybe its sign I need to go out tonight.

On this day in 2017 (Yosemite) and 2015 (Grand Teton) -I couldn’t just pick one.

I have probably watched over 400 sunsets in this exact spot, and they never get old.On this day in 2019.

On this day in -2021. Cross country skiing in the Tetons with our parents. When we started out in the morning the mountains were covered up clouds, but as the day progressed, the clouds burned off and gave us outstanding views of the mountains.

My 2023 goal is to be more consistent with sharing my work, and this is the second photo as part of my “On this day in” series.

This year, 2023, is the ELEVENTH year I have spent living in national parks. Grand Teton, Grand Canyon, Yosemite, Zion, Yellowstone and now here in Glacier where we have been since 2018 and plan to stay for at least the next few decades. Time flies when you are having fun.

That’s 11 years of taking photos almost daily of the beautiful places I call home- not to mention the other places I have been lucky enough to visit. Thousands of photos, and yet I have only shared about 750 of them publicly.

As I mentioned in my last post, I have been working on a project that has required me to go back and revisit a lot of those photos. While this isn’t that project, I hope that in the process I will be sharing a lot more photos from my archives (in addition to new work of course). While trying to keep things “in season” I will be posting archival photos on the date they were taken, albeit years later.

So let’s start with this one. On this date in 2022….
