7 am at the lake. ☕️ 🌅

All witnessed while the dog pees and the cats search for a morning blade of grass to chew on.

I do really miss having a more field oriented job, but being able to work from home and have THIS be my office space is almost like having the best of both worlds.

73° desk work on these 100° summer days while still witnessing wildlife constantly (sweat free) is pretty nice 👌🏼

We’ve finally been getting some decent rain and all the plants and insects are loving it!

I hate these flowers in my yard because they just crawl along the ground and choke everything else out, but the bees love it, so until I can finally remove it all from my yard, I’ll probably still admire the pretty little flower and pollinators lol

Here’s to hoping for more rain in FL. We desperately need it 😩

Mid day mood….

I was thumbing through some files on my desktop and found these old photos in a folder I haven’t opened in years (probably since I took them off my camera). I took this of a sleepy pup at the when I first got into wildlife photography and just photography again in general. I don’t even know if this was taken on my d3200 or my d5600 it was so long ago now.

Gotta say, I don’t know if my shots have improved but I do know I’m just as happy about wildlife photography today as I was then which is the whole point, right!? 😊

Two Medicine glacier National Park.

The colors of this photo and this area are truly stunning but seeing it in black and white I think captures a certain beauty that gets missed when distracted by colors.
