You were such a trooper putting up with all of mine and your mom’s requests for photo ideas. You showed up prepared and ready to go even when the weather was less than ideal!

I can’t wait to see what life has to offer you and I hope you have the best senior year!

Also, peek the couple shots with mom that we had to grab as she is preparing emotionally to having a senior in the house!

A full year has passed since I have posted and for that I want to apologize!

My last session that I posted was of my mom and my nephew. We wanted to capture that moment in time as we just werent sure how long we would have with her. I never would have guessed that a few days after that session, she would pass. My mom lost her battle to cancer but looking at those photos, you would never know the true pain she was struggling with. She was so full of life in those photos and boy were her last smiles the most beautiful ones I have seen!

I decided to put the camera down for the remainder of the year and focus on myself and my healing.

This June, a friend reached out and asked me to do a session for her son as he will be a senior this next school year. As tough as it was to grab that camera again, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to slowly start up again and boy am I glad that I did!
This session reminded me of the joy photography brings to me and I am so excited to share some of those photos with you.

To the sweetest boy:
I hope one day you look back on these pictures and see how beautiful your nana is! I hope you see the smile you bring to her face and the impact you have had on her!
I hope you cherish these photos and know how special your nana is to every single person around her. I hope you look back on these and can still hear her laughter, see the love she has for you and know that when she can no longer carry you in her arms, she will always be able to carry you in her heart! 🤍
